Events: Cal Expo, 2011
I just finished unpacking from this past weeks' I.S.E. show at Cal-Expo in Sacramento, Ca. Over the years I've attended many of them as a spectator, but this was my first time as an exhibitor. It was a fantastic experience all the way around. From the first day of set up to the last hours of tear down, it was an incredibly smooth process.
I would like to thank everyone at I.S.E. (especially Brian Mayo) for their professionalism in making this a very memorable and encouraging event. Most of all, I would like to thank the hundreds of spectators who continually encouraged me with their kind words of appreciation for my art.
I would like to give a special thanks to Sep & Marilyn Hendrickson and the folks at CIFFI (California Inland Fisheries Foundation, Inc.) for including me in part of the numerous events and projects aimed at preserving California's natural resources, so we, and future generations, can all enjoy the great outdoors.
Also thanks to Dave Hurley of USAFishing.com, for the encouraging conversation and mentioning me in his weekly hot sheet report.
Thanks to my friends, Dave Coberly and Michael Alvarez, for their help. But most of all, I'd like to thank my love, Erin, for her continual encouragement and support to pursue my dream of creating wildlife art.
Thank you all!
